Each State has different requirements for the administration and issuance of vessel titles. Our staff is experienced in dealing with the various State agencies and the myriad levels of regulations that must be satisfied to obtain a title for your vessel.
Some States do not issue vessel titles but still require registration of your vessel, and many require registration for vessels documented with the Coast Guard. The numerous regulations surrounding vessels can be complicated and confusing. Our staff can guide you through these regulations to fulfill the requirements set by your State.
Our staff has years of experience working with lenders, both marine and private, from all areas of the country. We can secure a lender's interest in any way required: with a Coast Guard preferred marine mortgage; as legal owner on a state title or registration; or with a U.C.C. statement filed with the proper State agency.
Our team of professionals will research the title to determine any recorded lienholders, prepare the proper release documents and coordinate the payoff of the lien and the filing of the appropriate reconveyance items with the proper agency.
